8K a year 20 hours ago 20 hours ago 20 hours ago The Hunterdon Center for Surgery, affiliated with Hunterdon Health in Flemington, NJ is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our team.
The Patient Service Representative provides a variety of secretarial and staff support services that support the overall efficiency of the department and organization.
Supports the Mission, Philosophy and objectives of the Hunterdon Center for Surgery.
Answers telephone in a pleasant and professional manner.
Screens and directs incoming calls to the correct party.
Able to take accurate messages and able to inform supervisor of employee or client issues in a timely manner.
Provides word processing support for assigned projects.
Maintains client folders, employee folders, and office data as directed.
Provides data entry into various Surgery Center computer systems.
Assists with ordering and putting away supplies as needed.
Updates client and staff schedule as needed.
Assists Director with monitoring staff credentials and evaluations.
Notifies appropriate parties of pending deadlines.
Assists Surgery Center management with scheduling, coordinating programs, staff in-services, orientation, and volunteer services.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills including strong interpersonal skills as well as experience with Microsoft Office applications, Medical Terminology, data entry experience, ability to multitask, pleasant telephone manner and professional appearance.
Location:
Hunterdon Center for Surgery Schedule:
Full-time, Day shift, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
