The position requires an organized, detail-oriented individual with good phone and customer service skills.
Motivated candidates will be trained on the job.
Responsibilities:
Calling insurance or online to determine insurance coverage and Benefits and deductible Schedule appointments and take messages.
Answer telephones.
Direct patients to individuals or offices within the clinic.
Update medical records.
Prepare patient charts.
Schedule procedures, prior Auth , precertification of procedure, medication and radiology FT/PT Non-certified Medical assistant, Scheduler,or medical receptionist.
Knowledge of Next Gen EMR and experience in Gastroenterology practice is a plus.
