1K a year 7 days ago 7 days ago 7 days ago Position Summary Acts as a first point of contact for AVP of Behavioral health and assists in supporting the Medical Director of Behavioral Health.
In addition, provides secretarial support and assistance to the Clinical Support staff and BH Directors and Managers, as required.
Supervises the Patient Service Representative (PSR) and secretarial staff in outpatient behavioral health.
Primary Position Responsibilities 1.
Provides administrative support to the Administrative Director and management team.
2.
Supervises clinical and registration support staff.
3.
Participates in ongoing electronic systems education, providing training to all areas of supervision.
4.
Processes and follows-up on departmental invoices/billing for appropriate reimbursement/payment.
5.
Works collaboratively with peers, supervisors, and staff to ensure the efficient operation of the department.
6.
Updates and maintains department policy manuals, master documents, and insurance contracts; distributes to appropriate personnel.
7.
Responds appropriately to patient questions/requests.
8.
Maintains an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents.
9.
Schedules meeting events for Hunterdon Behavioral Health and manages Multi-disciplinary meetings throughout HHS as needed.
10.
Transcribes minutes for several Behavioral Health Department committees.
11.
Prepare reports, collect and analyze information; prepare presentations as requested.
12.
Manage and maintain work calendar, telephone communication and schedule for the AVP of Behavioral Health 13.
Provides Kronos review and processing for AVP of Behavioral Health and Directors in Behavioral Health and assists with time off approval for PSR's.
14.
Provide clerical and general office support to other areas as needed.
15.
Evaluate policies to ensure they are in compliance with corporate rules and mission for AVP of Behavioral HEalth, Medical Director and other department managers.
16.
Manages and Maintains all employee files, credentialing files, quality improvement, performance improvement, and state reported incidents.
17.
Trained/ proficient in practice computer system and EHR records and Provides onsite support.
Trained Administrator for Ingenious Med Application for billing.
18.
Collaborates and provides instruction/education for workflow processes to all of HBH.
19.
Assists with new hire interview selection and interview processes.
20.
Provides support for position vacancies, new hire transition and training in various areas of HBH Work.
Qualifications Minimum Education:
Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred:
Bachelor's degree Minimum Years of Experience Required:
Minimum of two years experience in administrative support.
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
Required:
Knowledge of computers, Microsoft office, Google Suite, Internet, and ability to operate and maintain office machines.
Must be able to work and assist others in an administrative capacity as well as work independently.
Must be able to supervise others effectively.
Must be a pleasant, well-groomed, and courteous individual who is skilled in administrative support, employee supervision, and all office management functions.
Must be proficient and understand electronic billing and data systems.
Must be able to multitask effectively.
Preferred:
Knowledge of Next Gen EHR, Affinity and managed care systems.
Location:
Hunterdon Healthcare System HBH - Administration Schedule:
Full-time, Day shift, M-Fr.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
