Summary:
This position is responsible for overseeing the hourly Security Staff on the JFI Flemington site at multiple Security posts during an afternoon shift.
This role will provide supervision and technical direction on matters relating to the security of the JFI's property, products, and the people onsite.
The Security Supervisor will report directly to the Director of Safety and Security.
Responsibilities:
Supervision of hourly Security Staff at the JFI Flemington site in line with objectives and policies developed by JFI Executive Staff and/or the Corporate Security Management team.
Supervise daily security operations and respond to emergencies at the JFI Flemington site when warranted.
Communicate to the Director of Safety and Security regarding security related issues and/or situations occurring onsite through both written and verbal communication methods.
Monitor and operate security access control systems, equipment, and supplies.
Document and report any issues within to be maintained or repaired.
Ensure all hourly Security Staff comply with JFI Flemington site security procedures and any immediate instructions.
This role will require involvement in confidential information and interfacing with local/state/federal regulatory and law enforcement agencies.
Train at the multiple Security posts to maintain working knowledge and ability to perform basic skills required at each post (Front Gate, Visitor Center, and Take Home Store).
Qualifications:
High School Diploma.
Minimum of 5 years experience in law enforcement or security is strongly preferred.
Must be an individual of high integrity, honest, alert, and self-disciplined.
Knowledge workings of Security Systems including CCTV, etc.
Good computer, phone, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills.
Able to pass a physical, hearing test, and applicable drug and alcohol testing.
