Job
Summary:
Part of a team of Garage Mechanics that perform preventative maintenance, repairs and inspections on a fleet of trailers, yard tractors, and over-the-road tractors.
Responsible for maintaining repair records and parts inventory in Garage, and for documenting parts required.

Compensation up to $30.

Responsibilities:
Ability to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on:
Brakes (ABS), Wheels, Tires, Starters, Suspensions, Drive Belts, Hoses, Ignition Systems, Computer Codes, Turbos, Noises and Emissions.
Ability to perform routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, lubricating equipment, fluid changes.
Ability to drive a yard jockey tractor to move trailers between yard and garage.
Ability to diagnose and repair ThermoKing refrigeration units on trailers.
Ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues on transport equipment.
Knowledge and skillset required to complete DOT inspections on trailers.
