Patient Service Representative

- High school diploma or equivalent is required
Customer service skills are required
Experience is preferred
A Patient Service Representative is responsible for greeting patients, processing paperwork for visits, scheduling appointments, providing patient assistance, collecting appropriate co-pays, answering phones, taking messages and/or referring to appropriate party in a timely manner, in addition to being assigned special projects as needed. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent; Customer service skills a must; Prior office experience helpful; Good communication skills; Detail oriented; Telephone experience; Computer savvy; Able to operate general office equipment; Ability to Multitask. NextGen and Affinity experience a plus!

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
