System Engineer

- Associates degree is preferred

The System Engineer will design, support and implement server based technology as well as provide support for the daily technical functions as they relate to our server environment. The System Engineer will work with the Manager of System Engineering and the Director of IT on server related projects as well as all operational server support and administration. System Engineer provides intermediary to advanced level support of primary or essential responsibilities.
1. Management and support of the server virtualization environment
2. Secondary Management and support of the Storage Area Network
3. Management and support of the virtual PC environment
4. Planning and system design work around the Virtual Server and Virtual PC environments.
5. Collaboration with all IS department teams
6. Effective use of all IS Information Systems
An Associate's Degree in Computer Science is Preferred.
Certificate and/or Advanced Specialized or Technical Training is preferred.
Required: 3 or more years of experience with Server & PC virtualization experience.
Preferred: 3-5
years of experience working in a Healthcare environment with aforementioned technologies. Knowledge of scripting languages a plus. Strong troubleshooting skills with knowledge of the OSI model a plus.
Preferred: Network+, MCP, MCSE
Required: Strong computer troubleshooting skills
Preferred: Familiarity with OSI model (Open Systems Interconnection), specifically how it relates to client / server troubleshooting.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
